Happy International Women's Day! Today, we celebrate the incredible achievements and contributions of women worldwide. In honor of this special day, we are featuring one of our new amazing experts, Professor Wendy Stock!
Dr. Stock is a professor at the Department of Agricultural Economics & Economics at Montana State University. She has written extensively on the labor market impact of workplace discrimination, including discrimination based on age, gender, and disability.
Vega Economics and Dr. Stock were recently retained by a municipality in an employment discrimination case. Plaintiff alleged that the municipality placed him in an untenable position of imminent demotion and reduction of pay unless he resigned his position and left his job, causing him to be constructively discharged in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). Vega supported Dr. Stock to review and respond to Plaintiff’s expert’s calculations of economic losses.
