Dr. Wendy Stock was retained by a municipality in an employment discrimination case. Plaintiff alleged that the municipality placed him in an untenable position of imminent demotion and reduction of pay unless he resigned his position and left his job, causing him to be constructively discharged in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). Vega supported Dr. Stock to review and respond to Plaintiff’s expert’s calculations of economic losses.

Dr. Stock is a professor at the Department of Agricultural Economics & Economics at Montana State University. She has written extensively on the labor market impact of workplace discrimination, including discrimination based on age, gender, and disability. She has also been commissioned by the University of Wyoming for a report that assessed salary differentials among faculty and staff related to sex, race/ethnicity, and age.
