Samir Mamadehussene is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas.
His research interests include industrial organization, marketing, and microeconomic theory. His current research involves a combination of theoretical models and empirical analysis, with the goal of understanding firm behavior and its impact on consumer welfare. His research on Price Matching Guarantees as a Direct Signal of Low Prices is forthcoming in Journal of Marketing Research.
He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Northwestern University, and an M.Sc. in Economics from Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics.
