Vega welcomes Dr. Paul Hanouna to our extensive expert network. Dr. Hanouna is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Villanova School of Business. He has held appointments as a Financial Economist at the Securities and Exchange Commission (2014-2015) and as a Resident Fellow at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (2009-2011). He has also held visiting positions with Copenhagen Business School and the Indian School of Business and is a consultant to the International Monetary Fund.

Dr. Hanouna specializes in corporate and international finance, as well as credit risk and real estate. His best-selling textbook with Alan C. Shapiro, Multinational Financial Management (Wiley & Sons, 11th ed., 2019), is in use in most of the leading MBA programs around the world. His research has been presented in seminars and conferences at leading financial, regulatory, and academic institutions and relayed in national media outlets. Notably, his research on executive compensation and mutual funds has been mentioned in the US Senate.


He has worked on a variety of consulting and litigation cases involving securities fraud, patent infringement, and the valuation of interests in closely held firms, intangible assets, warrants, restricted stock, and employee stock options.
