We’re thrilled to announce that Dr. Shah Ghourchian has joined Vega Economics as a Consultant. Her deep expertise in applied macroeconomics, empirical modeling, and data analytics will be a tremendous asset as she supports our experts to design and implement economic analyses.
Previously, Dr. Ghourchian was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Saint Michael’s College, where she taught econometrics, policy modeling, and mentored students in applied research. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Florida International University. She is skilled in Stata, R, Python, SQL, and Tableau — and brings a strong record of research on trade, housing, resource booms, and more.
