Yizao Liu is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Economics at the Pennsylvania State University. She has been the principal investigator in numerous grants from the USDA related to agricultural economics.
Her research is focused on industrial organization, applied econometrics, food marketing, food and energy policy, energy economics, agribusiness, and experimental economics. Her research has been published in European Review of Agricultural Economics, Applied Economics, Energy Economics, Agricultural and Resource Economics Review, and Decision Support Systems.
She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in economics from University of Texas at Austin, and a B.A. in Finance from Renmin University of China.
