Şahan specializes in competition economics and econometric analysis and brings several years of experience from a prominent economic consulting firm, where he advised clients on complex antitrust and commercial litigation matters. His work has included economic, statistical, and econometric analyses involving alleged collusion, mergers, and damages across a wide range of industries, including airlines, pharmaceuticals, financial markets, and digital markets.
Şahan earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Johns Hopkins University, specializing in applied industrial organization. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with testifying experts and counsel through every stage of litigation, from data analysis and expert reports to depositions and trial preparation.
